It’s specifically offered in outlying, less-populated areas. The photos below are actual examples of N. Texas listed properties around $150K in Aubrey, Little Elm, Red Oak, and Azle that (as of this writing), are available and would qualify for USDA’s program. A ton of other areas and price ranges are available, too.
Here’s a great tool to see if a home (or even your own address) qualifies. Just CLICK HERE to visit the USDA website and then click “Property Eligibility, Programs, Single Family Homes” on the left-hand side of the page. Finally, just insert the property address and it will give you the eligibility answer of “yes” or “no”.
